Seems Jeff (Goodby) & Rich (Silverstein) are throwing a huge bash on May 8th to celebrate 25 years of being in business. Being that at last count, approximately 54% of their shop’s revenue comes from “new media” — so in an ode to that (or maybe not) they decided to put a video invitation on YouTube.

Pretty funny stuff and shows they haven’t lost their sense of humour — they can only hope they look that good when they get old though…I still would love the opportunity to putter around town in one of those motorized scooters that Rich is sporting — not sure it is up to heading through Pacific Heights all that well though.

What’s the joke? Isn’t that really them?

I think this is probably funnier if you work there or know those guys personally. And clearly that’s the audience.

Otherwise, it’s sorta not that funny. Bless their hearts.

This isn’t an ad it’s an invite. If you’re not invited don’t critique and don’t worry about it…

    oh snap?

If it’s not supposed to be critiqued, why did they submit it to adcritic? You see, crazy thing really, but the site name has the word “critic” in it. I know, I know…it blew my mind too.

Weird. They don’t hire anybody over 40.
