Another BBHer Hits the Dust… In Style.
March 30, 2008
Recently, a handful of mid-level creatives have bailed from BBH NY. One story that can be added to this mini-exodus is that of Art Director Andrew Tider.
Before leaving the shop for a gig over at Nitro, he decided to make a video of himself packing up. Not just his office… the whole shop.
His coworkers dug it, of course… and luckily so did his superiors. Steve Hearty apparently called it “extraordinary.”
Enjoy.

Andy is the coolest

That was dumb. and it looks like more of a agency project to get people talking about BBH than some AD leaving and actually stealing stuff…

Tider’s website says he works for BBH…

…or for this guy to get people talking about him.

Yup
Pretty damn stupid. This is one of those “hey if I suck at my new job but make a funny video of me leaving for people I used to work for, maybe they’ll take me back” dealios. Kinda like when you dump a chick for another, but ask if you can still call in case the new chick won’t bring knives and other chicks to bed.
Be sure to rollover that 401K

Hope this guy doesn’t do television. Longest piece of business I ever had to sit through for one joke. Has he ever heard of editing?

Nitro sucks – but hey, somebody has to work there

Man, I think this is funny. Everyone has wanted to do that, so why not make it a funny joke. I don’t know why anyone would take a job at Nitro, but I can understand why a creative would no longer want to work for a couple of hack Swedes like the Fella’s or Todd Riddle. What a tool.
