*Tap, Tap*…is this thing on?

Well I am the aforementioned “guest blogger” for the next few days in the absence of the mighty SuperSpy — she is off doing her thing around the country in a bit of pre-Easter travel excitement — so she asked me to step in and throw up some posts and see what happens (ok…maybe “throw up” is a bad turn of phrase for this particular instance…but moving on.)

Not sure how I got the gig exactly — other than I made a few comments over the past few months and have traded a few e-mails with SuperSpy — and presto, change-o — here I am. I guess I could be classified as a bit of a fan boy — but I think I may be a bit too hard-edged for such designations.
