Omnicom Staffers? Forget About Your Bonus
March 10, 2008
Yes, this isn’t Wall Street, but those bonuses and little bumps you get from your agency make a big difference in your happiness factor, no? Omnicom CEO John Wren has said that despite the advertising business holding up well under economic strains, the agency isn’t performing “well enough,” so employees won’t see bonuses this year, but this will also keep the company from having to lay off any bodies.
Wren also said that the agency expects double-digit revenue growth in 2008, but not from the U.S. (hello, recession!). Growth drivers will be coming from China and the Middle East.
