The USA Today Ad Meter is up ranking the 10 most popular Super Bowl ads. And it goes a little something like this:

How the Ad Meter works: USA TODAY created the Super Bowl Ad Meter in 1989 to gauge consumers’ opinions about TV’s most expensive commercials. USA TODAY assembled 136 adult volunteers in Tampa and electronically charted their second-by-second reactions to ads during the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, AdBowl has them in a different order:

As does Nieseln’s social networking site:

Everyone agrees on the number one spot and everything is just jockeying for position.

I guess Hyundai’s ad and talking about the “USA Today Ad Meter” didn’t help.

They really should have pulled their Super Bowl spot and saved some money.

    The Tide spot was great.

But it was in Cannes last year and last night was the first time it was ever seen on TV by anyone I know. Did it ever run before that?

What I want to know is for what earthly reason AOL think it’s a good idea to IP restrict the commercials on their site so I can’t see them in the UK. Pretty stupid idea to restrict access to ads.
