As a long-time reader of this blog, and a guy who’s currently working in PR, I’m not sure if I’m qualified to answer, but I gotta say I look forward to the “No Wukkas” posts, to see what’s out there. Readers, help a guy out and send in more job hints so I can get the heck outta Dodge!
But to answer AS’ queries:
Happy? Not really
Win a client? Nope, lost one (ergo the job search)
Hate boss? no comment, but reference Job search
Overcharge? lunch somehow gets billed…
Lie to client? no. Well, I’m reading AS on a billable hour…
ECD make me cry? No, just incredibly frustrated.

The best advice — give up on agencies (they are all completely fucked) and start your own gig.
Did it before — went back to an agency…. where needless to say the management were a whole set of tools and completely happy with their own heads up each other arses…
Now back at my own gig and making shitloads more coin and getting exposed to new & different things on a daily basis — needless to say both myself & my clients are happier.
Take the plunge kids!
