I’ve been spending much time with major ad agencies and focus groups lately and can only conclude that—with some exceptions—they are mostly clueless. A few years ago they had a traditional knowledge about consumers and they had a reason for being. Today they don't know much about social networking and web 2.0 technology. Today, most of them don’t know about consumers either. Mainstream ad agencies have one refrain—one message to their corporate clients—do advertising. Many of the traditional and sub-par corporate agencies have no chance of getting back to their old comfortable positions, and it's only a matter of time before more major clients switch to modern organizations.

AS,

Not very cool to give out the IP of people who leave comments.

Maybe you don't know, but finding the physical address of an IP address is super easy.

I mean, you've already lost a lot of readers 'cause of your ill-advised, albeit temporary, switch to a non-comment format. But now, if we post a comment, you just might tell everyone what agency we work at?

We know that you and Scott G are buddies but do you really need to use this forum as a PR platform for them?

We who have been working there knows the true, and it is NOT being written about here. Sorry.

Hey,
We like the Frog. Just like I like Anomaly, Deep Focus... Hell, we even like R/GA, Tribal DDB and BBDO.

Your message is little cryptic. Have you got something to say?
Good and bad - we report on everything.
Looking forward,
