Steve Biegel has been asked to you know… prove that this whole hooker-jew-hating thing really happened. A U.S. District Court judge Biegel to provide support his allegations. Judge Colleen McMahon has also given Dentsu the right to a viable Faragher-Ellereth defense aka an “affirmative defense” that allows the company to say it had an adequate sexual harassment policy. However, she refused to dismiss Dentsu’ motion to dismiss the ex-CD’s lawsuit. In this motion, Dentsu’s lawyer asserts that Steve has no proof and that all claims should be dismissed as “parent companies are not generally liable for the acts of their subsidiaries.” That latter point is so weak. They also claimed that Mr. Shigeta’s snapping photos of Maria Sharapova’s crotch was not sexual harassment of Biegel, but the tennis player.
