From an internal memo at Deutsch:“Today is an epic day for Deutsch. Not only did we win the $180MM PlayStation account, we won Saturn’s entire online business. Both calls came within a half hour of each other this morning.”
What a day for Deutsch. WHAT A DAY. First they win Playstation and then, AND THEN beat out Goodby for the Saturn account who has held it since 2002. You know… Goodby deserved to lose that account. The shop gave the car maker three taglines in five years.Go get drunk Deutsch. You guys earned it.

Uh, they didn’t take it from Goodby. Goodby lost Saturn ages ago and replaced it (x3) with Hyundai.

Yikes is right. I was at the Goodby Party in San Francisco celebrating the Hyundai and Sprint wins… A grand total of $1.2 fucking billion in billings. They had lost Saturn in February. The party was in April. And the reason was because Saturn has turned into the client from hell. Anyway, Hyundai is three times bigger. And Deutsch didn’t pick up the whole account. You should ALWAYS check with me first.
