AdWeek is reporting that MDC Partners has increased its equity stake Crispin Porter + Bogusky to 77 percent from 49 percent. Whoa-ho. Take the indie out of CP+B please.  “MDC Partners has been a terrific partner to Crispin. This deal will allow us to continue to do what we do best: Make our clients and their brands famous. We will continue to make all decisions together on what is best” for the agency, said Porter.

MDC’s also owns bits of Cliff Freeman and Partners, Lime Public Relations + Promotions, Media Kitchen, and Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners in New York, but you know CP+B is the star of the show.
