Super Bowl Ad Space 90% Sold Out
October 31, 2007
Unlike the last few years, Adage is reporting that the Super Bowl ad time is flying off the shelves. Ninety percent? Those kind numbers remind us of two week ago, when we had to literally fight to get tickets for the Morrissey show here in New York City. Consider this - as Vallyewag pointed out, “At $2.7 million per 30-second spot with Fox likely to bring in $160 million in ad revenues more than Facebook is projected to make this entire year.”
See? Advertising is still where the money’s at. Hoorah.
Fox is offering advertisers a bonus via MySpace placements and will run on-air promotions during the game that cajole viewers into logging on. .
