Fallon UK and Sony? What a team. What a team. We hear… that Fallon’s next commercial for Sony involves the brand’s Sony Walkman. The spot, titled ‘Music Pieces’, is for the latest generation of Walkman digital players. Supposedly, it’s the first ever ‘monophonic’ advert – in which 128 musicians play only note at a time to reconstruct an original music piece created by Hollywood music director Peter Raeburn. The spot drops in the UK tomorrow am, but if you want to get a jump on the masses, see it online at 6pm GMT, today the walkman project site. The site will also allow users to upload their own versions of the song and remix/rate other people’s tunes.
