Fishbowl NY is reporting that Wright Ferguson, “who was named the first national publisher of Adweek back in 1997, is leaving the company. His job was ”overseeing the advertising and marketing of Adweek, Brandweek, Mediaweek and Editor & Publisher magazines and their companion web properties.” In addition, a handful of positions in the Marketing & Media Group (of which Adweek is a part) were eliminated. However, we are actively searching for opportunities elsewhere within our organization for the individuals who are affected.”
