Adverganza has been scanning the ads from the AdWeek program and we totally concur with her that the house ads for agency’s are super crappy. See them all here. Our favorite is the print work above for TBWA. We’re not even going to dignify this work with commentary.

You obviously did not visit the TBWA URL in that print ad. It’s a joke.

  2. superspy Says:

Actually we did and it;s a very bad joke. TBWA owns the domain. See it here: http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=everybodyslovingadvertising.com
There is no way that TBWA should be engaging in such behavior in a publication for the advertising industry on such a large scale as Advertising Week. It’s not funny and it’s not good business.

Loosen up. The TBWA one is funny. It’s the only one of the bunch that made me respect the agency (or the business) more.

Stop taking yourself so seriously. It’s advertising. It’s supposed to entertain and make us laugh, is it not?

Love that you guys feels strongly about this. One we think it’s just lame for the reasons we said above. But beyond that, we also think that if you’re going to have it go to a dummy site and you’re going to make it a joke, then flesh that shit out, y’know? Show us what you can do and actually be funny. Show off a little and make it interesting. Why waste such an opportunity?

Well… to each his own, right?

  5. Whome? Says:

    Still funny.
