I loved that agency and am sad about its fall. That happens sometimes, they wrong people come on board, the French take over and it all goes pear-shaped. Appleby is still good though. Really good. You need to get your heads out of the creative department's collective ass and really understand what makes an agency great: the total agency culture. Anyone who's anyone understands that Fallon stop being Fallon when it sold itself to the French. Once an agency stops charting its own course and surrenders to the quarterly earnings demands of a public entity the culture goes to pot, the work suffers, people leave and it's all down hill from there.
