Nintendo, who produces the number one selling console in Japan the Wii, is shifting its $13M account to Karmarama after incumbent Leo Burnett resigned the account in May after helping to successfully launch the device. The London based shop beat out three other contenders: Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest, Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy and CDP. Karmarama has it’s own blog. In June, they did a post where they laud the addition of the Wii to their offices (see pic above). They all look like hip London kids. To bad about their name.

The blog Hyperempowered is highlighting a very sharp street level campaign for the Wii by Leo Burnett. They did some good work. We’re wondering why Burnett choose not to defend. Do you know? Create a fake gmail account and email us at agencyspy at mediabistro dot com. Thanks!
