UPDATE: August 2nd, 2007, 3:30 pm – More Bodies Fall At Fallon Including Pat’s

Another ex-employee of Fallon has something to say about exactly why the agency is in the shitter. If you haven’t read part one – here it is.

“I was part of the 30 or so who got the axe in june. been at the agency for many years. since I started, I’ve seen the overall creative talent and drive go down the toilet.

while I can’t blame the buchners specifically, I can definitely say that management is to blame. the talent has always been there, and even the people who came on to replace the “best people” you speak of have worked their asses off.

management on the other hand likes to go on and on about how everyone needs to “bite some asses” and “be the rat-fuckers” of the old days to win business. like suddenly its OUR fault that westbrook, the buchners, and half-assed creative directors continue to drive this company into the ground.

I miss the days where Pat Fallon was the kick-ass driver of this agency that he once was. either he doesn’t care any more or Fallon is so far gone now he realizes he can’t save it.”

Hmmm… we wonder which it is…. Pat? Want to chime in here?

  1. Ex-Fallon Says:

This is total bullshit. How can the Buchner brothers be faulted for the downfall of Fallon’s Creative offering when their advice on how to steer the agency has been largely ignored?

Your tipster left Fallon a long time ago. You think the Buchners were responsible for the hiring of both Paul Silburn and Kerry Feuerman? Think again. Having worked under both of them, I can tell you that these two extremely poor choices for Lubars-successors is the most significant factor in the downfall of Fallon’s creative offering.
