It seems that Fallon is going to lose two more great creatives: Pelle and Calle Sjonell who are currently the group creative directors at Fallon/Minneapolis. They’re bouncing to creative director positions on the Axe account at BBH/New York. Creativity Online has the full scoop. And just in case you missed it, Pat Fallon is stepping down and “relinquishing the day-to-day control of his eponymous agency network as part of a restructure triggered by the alignment of the agency with Saatchi & Saatchi. “

Oh boy… All of this comes right on the heels on the formation of the SSF Group, as well as all the recent commentary here at AgencySpy about what exactly Fallon’s problem is. See Part One here and Part Deux here.

Those guys are great. Extremely talented and innovative thinkers.
Fallon had 2 brilliant guys like this under their belt, and didn’t utilize them.

    big loss for Fallen.

    big gain for BBH.

    good luck guys.

there is still some incredible talent left at that office, but I wonder how log it will be before they move on to greener pastures?

these guys are talkers. and get this, with accents. so somehow the utter bs that comes out is considered interesting. i can tell you all they do is delegate, and talk. no work. nothing. well that and they where the most wretched perfume and wear scarves in the summer time. ‘nough said.

    They are great.

I worked with them while at fallon.

Never afraid to make a great idea live. Very inspirational folks. They also brought a little life back into the creative department. Very fun - non judgmental people.

    good luck fellas!

  6. Not the real Swedes Says:

I’ll just add to all the Fallon haters here — which I
just don’t get. These two Swedes were not very talented or driven. They posed and spoke rudely at times without great result. The work the were able to produce during their time there was far below past Fallon creative standards and they could figure out how to write a spot for the life of them. They thought they were Paul and Linus but were not even close to the juniors still at the agency, just politicians out for themselves.

These guys did nothing at Fallon, except promote themselves. I would expect BBH and their clients will find it all out soon enough.
