McKinney Takes To The Skies
July 31, 2007
Havas’ McKinney has won the much coveted Virgin Atlantic account on the side of creative, while MEC Interaction will do the less fun stuff like communications planning and buying. The incumbent Crispin Porter + Bogusky decided not to defend.
“From the start, McKinney showed their collaborative nature and proved they have both the strategic and creative teams that will help move forward the Virgin Atlantic brand,” said Chris Rossi, Virgin Atlantic SVP North America, in Adweek. “Since our first flight, the airline has stood for service, innovation and value, characteristics that were displayed by the entire McKinney and MEC Interaction team, making this the clear choice.”
Anomaly currently holds the Virgin America.
