Pepsico’s Frito-Lay is taking two of its brands out of BBDO without reviews. The Lay’s potato chips business (estimated to be about $60 million) is going to Chicago’s Element 79, which currently reps tons of food and beverage brands. Meanwhile, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners adds the Cheetos brand to its roster valued at $15-20 million. From Adweek: According to Jared Dougherty, a representative at the Plano, Texas-based client, the moves represent a continuation of the company’s efforts to consolidate its brands within the Omnicom agency network.”
