The mega french agency Havas has said it is “on the road to recovery” after posting a small rise in first-half revenues and strong organic growth. First-half revenues rose by 1.3%. Meanwhile, organic growth averaged 4.4% across the first six months of 2007. This was the first time in six years that quarterly growth exceeded 5%. The French group, which owns MPG and Euro RSCG Worldwide, attributed the strong organic growth to a number of high-profile account wins last year including Reckitt Benckiser, Sanofi-Aventis, Sears, Pfizer, Exxon Mobil, Progressive Direct, SFR, Banco Santander, GSK and Barclays. Plus the group took home 8 Lions this year. Not bad. Things are looking good over at Havas.

thank international for the success, and david jones and charlie rutman here in america — otherwise, you have some hidden problems — at arnold, progressive is small and working people to the bone — volvo is a hell of a lot smaller than people think — rumor is vonage is out the door and royal carribean isn’t far behind — at mckinney, virgin is a lovely (small) account to have but still won’t mitigate the big losses of Audi and Sony. These are the real questions to consider.
