Campbell-Elwad Feels A Little Inferior
July 25, 2007
Have you ever heard of an ad agency called Campbell Ewald? We totally forgot about them until today. Part of the Interpublic Group of Companies, the shop is located in Detroit and boy, these guys feel totally inferior about their location. Check out their video above in which they describe how and why they’ve undergone some rebranding. Everyone in the video is like, “Go Detroit! Go!” Yeah, yeah… look Detroit may be on a slow, slow rise, but it’s still deeply, deeply in the gutter. Just face it. You’ve got the Pistons and not much else. But, really, what other position can they take considering that the CEO in the video says that the number one reason they don’t get work is because they are located in the Motor City where no one, no one in America wants to go on business. Funny bit though – they unveil their first “300 pound logo” in the first fifteen seconds of the video and all the employees are half heartedly clapping and looking so terribly bored. Yo! Edit that out dudes.
