We told you Amex Open was headed out the Ogilvy doorway and here’s the proof: American Express has gone straight to Crispin, Porter + Bogusky to manage their small business account. Major media spending on Open has run up to a little more than $100 million in 2006. Ogilvy, who does good work on the Amex consumer account, but somehow couldn’t keep it together on Open, will continue doing their thing. Crispin’s work should hit the stands in a few months. Can’t wait!

Oglivy, you know… We’re worried about you. Talk to us: agencyspy at mediabistro dot com

  1. The first nail in the O&M/AmEx coffin lid. You’re not the only one worried about O&M… The “Poisoned Dwarf” is kicking the shit out of the dog in his basement lair. You’re a clever one… And gorgeous.
